A proof of study is a document that shows us that you’re eligible to apply for jobs with SJS.
If this is your first time using Student Job Search, you’ll need to provide us with a proof of study document. Once you’ve uploaded your proof of study, you can start applying for jobs right away, but employers won’t see your application until your proof of study has been confirmed by our team. This usually takes 1-2 business days.
What does my proof of study need to contain?
Just a few things. Your proof of study must contain the following:
- Your name
- The name or logo of your tertiary provider
- A date connected to your studies
Proof of study examples
- A photo of your student ID
- Confirmation of study document or letter
- Offer of place
- Confirmation of enrolment
- Academic transcript
- Receipt of fees
- Screenshot of your tertiary student portal
I’m a high school student
For high school students, we also accept the following proof of studies:
- A letter from your school indicating your intention to study at a tertiary institute
- A hall of residence acceptance letter
I’m a graduate
For graduates, we also accept the following proof of studies:
- An invitation to graduate
- Confirmation of eligibility to graduate
- Copy of your qualification certificate
I’m an international student
For international students, we also accept the following proof of studies:
- A copy of your student visa
